Maundy Thursday Service will be at 7:00 pm.
Black Friday Service will be at 7:00 pm.

This year, Lent begins on February 17th, here at Henrietta UMC we begin Lent with an Ash Wednesday service with the imposition of ashes.  This event will be held in the church sanctuary at 7PM.  Each individual is invited to begin preparing their heart for the event of Holy Week, which culminate with our Easter morning celebration of our Lord’s resurrection. 
During Holy Week, we gather on Maundy Thursday to remember the events that took place during the Last Supper and Friday to remember the events that lead up to the crucifixion of Christ.

Easter Sunday begins with Sunrise Service, which is followed with the traditional Easter morning breakfast.  Those who cannot get up early enough to join us at the grave to be reminded of the resurrection responses of the disciples and Christ’s female followers can join us at 11 for the family service and be reminded of the testimonies of those who personally encountered Christ after his resurrection.
