Sunday Morning Worship
Services at 9AM & 11AM
Currently, we have two worship services. The early service begins at 9AM and is followed by the Sunday School hour. The second service begins at 11AM.
If you like an abbreviated service (approximately 45 minutes) or you are an early-riser who has places to go and things to do on Sundays but you still want to make worship a priority, the early service might be just what you’re looking for. If you have children who might enjoy Pastor Armando’s children’s chat and some Andy candy afterwards, or you enjoy hearing a choir sing, the 11AM family service might better fit your needs.
The first Sunday of the month, we usually celebrate Communion. Everyone who loves the Lord is welcome to come to the Table here.
Every month, which has a fifth Sunday, has a Fifth Sunday celebration. On those Sundays, there is no early service or Sunday School. There is a combined worship at 10 AM followed by a Town Meeting/Potluck at 11AM. The purpose of this event is to bring together the attendees of both services for fellowship and to bring up issues facing the church and discuss plans for the future.
Other Sunday morning highlights are Children’s Sunday when the kids tell about what they’ve learned in Sunday School during the past year, Baptism of infants or adults, reception of new members and Confirmation when there are enough youth for a class. Usually near Thanksgiving, we celebrate God’s faithfulness in giving us good harvests in our fields and gardens by bringing in a share of our harvest on First-Fruits Sunday.
